Secondary building members are primary load carriers for any PEB structure. They provide stability to buildings by bearing longitudinal loads and act as a shield against environmental forces such as wind, and earthquake

Secondary building components of PEB include

Purlins

Eave Struts

Side Runners

Fascia Channels

FUNCTIONS

Roof Purlin - Eave Struts - Wall Girts are three key components for manufacturing Cold Roll Formed Light Gauge. The gauge is manufactured based on a project's design requirement. These three components provide strong support to roof & wall panels.

Prepared from typical "Z" and "C" sections, Wall Girts and Purlins are being nested on primary building components such as columns and rafters.

TYPICAL "C" SECTION

TYPICAL "Z" SECTION

ROOF PURLINS

Purlins are pre-punched cold formed "Z" shaped section,

The bottom flanges of roof purlins are attached to the outer (top) flanges of the rafters. Purlins are lapped at all interior frames in all structural systems.

DEPTH: 150, 200 or 250 Mm

STIFFEND FLANGES: 75 Mm

WALL GIRTS

Wall Girts are cold formed from hot rolled steel.

Sidewall girts are attached to the outer flanges of exterior columns. they are lapped at all interior frames.

COIL RANGE

- 1.5 mm to 3.0 mm thickness for "Z" shapes.

- 2.0 mm and 2.5 mm thickness for "C" shapes (lipped channels).

EAVE STRUTS

Eave Struts are pre-punched cold formed "C" shaped sections.

Eave Strut serves as longitudinal structural bracing member in addition to acting as transition point for walls and roof sheeting.

DEPTH: 180 Mm

STIFFEND FLANGES: 85 Mm
